Focused Ultrasound Foundation and ALS Association Partner to Fund Focused Ultrasound Trial for ALS

A clinical trial will investigate whether focused ultrasound–induced blood-brain barrier opening could allow a promising new molecule to reach the brain.
This is the first project being funded as part of a partnership between the Foundation and the ALS Association.

Low Back Pain: Clinical Data Show Focused Ultrasound is Safe and Effective

FUSMobile recently published positive clinical trial results using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to treat low back pain.
The Neurolyser XR HIFU system achieved clinical responses comparable with radiofrequency ablation.

Focused Ultrasound Device for Low Back Pain Granted CE Mark

FUSMobile’s Neurolyser XR device has been granted the CE Mark for the treatment of a common cause of chronic low back pain.
The device is the first focused ultrasound system using x-ray guidance specifically for treating pain indications.

NaviFUS and Bracco Partner to Treat Brain Disorders

Bracco has agreed to provide its microbubble imaging agents for clinical trials that use the NaviFUS system to open the blood-brain barrier.
In the future, the companies plan to bundle Bracco’s microbubbles with the NaviFUS device for acoustic therapy sales.
