The Foundation has established a portfolio of core programs to complement and supplement other organizations\u2019 activities, as well as streamline the process and overcome barriers to development and adoption of focused ultrasound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Focused ultrasound has the potential to treat a variety of medical disorders. The majority of the Foundation\u2019s resources is dedicated to funding technical research and development, preclinical studies, and clinical trials leading to the rapid development of new, noninvasive, cost-effective therapies that will improve the quality of life for large numbers of patients. Read More<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholars<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation is committed to cultivating the next generation of clinicians, scientists, and engineers who will develop and use focused ultrasound technology. Through engagement with key stakeholders in our community \u2013 researchers, clinicians, patients, and industry \u2013 we identify and address the most critical challenges that are currently limiting successful commercialization and widespread patient access to focused ultrasound therapies. Regulatory and Reimbursement<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
